Responsibilities:
Chief Accountant is responsible for managing and controlling day-to-day activities of the F&A Department to ensure that internal control systems are smoothly imposed, operational expenses are within limited budgets and periodic tax and accounting reports are met by pre-set deadlines.
• Develop and maintain finance and accounting procedure with strong internal control.
• Control all finance and accounting and supervise day to day financial accounting activities
• Manages and monitors the operational expenses to ensure that they are within limited budgets;
• Controls the in/ out flow of the company’s fixed assets and properties on a regular basis;
• Keeps all records and ledgers and clarifies day-to-day transactions (petty cash vouchers, payment voucher and receipts, cash advances, etc.)
• Prepares billings to customers and monitors outstanding debts from the customers;
• Coordinate with other department managers for relevant activities in the line with maximizing the company benefit.
• Periodically works with tax officers and external auditors during their course of tax inspections and audits at the company respectively;
• Prepares monthly and yearly tax reports and financial statements
• Handles other ad-hoc tasks related to financial and accounting activities and required by the Board of Management. |

Skills & Qualifications:
• University graduated, major in Finance / Accounting (Postgraduate degree would be of great advantages)
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar position or above 5 years of working in General Accountant position in a foreign owned company / or multinational company
• Fluency with English (both oral and written)
• Thorough understanding of Accounting & Finance Law
• Strong analytic, management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
